What are your tips for preventing skin congestion and breakouts in the first place?

We have three main tips to prevent congestion and breakouts:

  1. Supply your body with powerful clear skin nutrients, namely Vitamin Bs (particularly B5, B3, folic acid, biotin), Vitamin A, silicon, zinc and copper.

  2. Maintain a balanced lifestyle; Eat well (more fresh food, avoid processed foods, minimise dairy, wheat, sugar, and high GI foods), drink lots of water daily and find ways to reduce stress.

  3. Implement and stick to a soothing and healing natural skincare routine. Avoid using harsh ingredients on your skin, as most people see better long term results through a more natural approach. Avoid wearing heavy make-up if possible; a good tip is to double cleanse at the end of the day; cleanse once to melt away make-up and a second time to flush out the residue that has settled into your pores.
